Members of the US congress are expressing outrage over the “alleged” shooting outside the US Capitol building today. Members of congress have been overheard saying how ironic it is that this happens right after the shut down.

“For the last two days the Capitol Police working the metal detectors have been super slow. They take like 3-4 minutes per person to clear someone to enter the building. God for bid you comment you are in a hurry then suddenly the machine will have a malfunction and need re-booting for 5 minutes.”
The aid went on to explain that her boss was furious with her and other aids being late. He called down to the Capital Police asking to talk to a supervisor but was told due to reduced staffing they would call him back later, likely next week.
Suddenly a few hours later the Capitol Building is under full lockdown. Congress people are being told to shelter in place and there is mass panic. The sounds of gunshots ring out.
Once all is said and done multiple members of congress start to compare notes. They see this shooting as a conspiracy to scare them into getting the budget passed. Our source tells us her boss will be calling for a full investigation into this event. The currently unnamed Congressman is working with other members of Congress to plan a press event.
“Ironic how we take away their paychecks and then suddenly they have to put on this little show for the media trying to look heroic. We get it, cops do dangerous shit. Sorry but the congressmen was not impressed. So chill out, once the other side accepts to our terms pay will be restored.”
