Former Law Enforcement Officer, Firefighter, and veteran United States Marine, Travis Howze walks into room full of people and lights up the scene with his killer humor. Now as a stand up comedian, Howze walks out on stage to kill them with his Funny Under Fire Comedy tour . Howze, uses comedy as his therapy for posttraumatic stress disorder, (PTSD) due to friends loss and events witnessed.

Last week in Johnson City, Tennessee, he slaughtered them with his hilarious set. His act was so spot on, he had them laughing nearly to the point they were peeing their pants. However, with comedy comes the occasional not-so-funny audience participation. A naÏve heckler spoke up and Howze verbally annihilated the guy.

The Johnson City show started out just fine. Howze was relaxed and the crowd was rolling with laughter. What came next was rather unexpected. A drunken audience member, later identified as a Mr. Neil Cannon, started to lip off. It took Comedian Howze a bit to realize it, but he had met Cannon before. When he was active as an officer, Howze, the funnyman had arrested Cannon for domestic abuse, three times.

“I did not recognize him at first. But then [Cannon] said something and pointed at me. It was then I saw the shitty ass forearm tattoo. A half naked women sitting on a US Navy anchor symbol. I did not remember his name but remembered he was a dude I had arrested.” People around Cannon convinced him to sit down and shut up. But that only lasted the extent of about five minutes. Soon enough he was up again, only this time he was making derogatory comments about Howze’s skills and knowledge as a cop.

Howze recounts, “He opened the door so I unleashed on him with both barrels. I told the audience all about how horrible this guy was to his wife. Then I told them about the time he pissed and shit himself in our squad car when he found out he would have to spend the night in jail. The audience loved it. They all died laughing when I told about how his wife called her twin sisters before calling 911. These sisters were 15-year-old high school rugby players and they kicked his ass big time. So, we show up and he is half crying and half threatening to murder them. Big bad man gets beat up by some school girls…”

Completely humiliated and owned, Mr. Cannon ran from the club. Unfortunately for the rest of us, the Johnson City, Tennessee show was not taped for later laughs. However, below we have embedded a clip from a different show available for your viewing.
