Los Santos has seen a sharp increase in crime. Most notable a steep rise in violent crimes. In a matter of only a few weeks a carjacker crashed a car into Yetarian automotive, there was a daring robbery at Vangelico’s jewelry store, and multiple businessmen have been assassinated. Add to this an over all increase in stolen cars, street fights, hit-and-run crashes, and muggings.

According to chief Pulaski. “This city has reached a boiling point. The criminal underbelly of this city is rising up. It is like a new breed of criminal has started to work in this city. These guys are well armed, and don’t think twice about shooting at police.”

Los Santos police reports show everyday since September 17 there has been multiple shootings in the city of Los Santos. The police department is overwhelmed by the sheer volume of violence.

“The public needs to know that when seconds could we at the Los Santos Police will likely be minutes away. With criminals willing to resort to violence at the drop of a hat, citizens need to be a step faster. Carry a gun, be alert and mistrustful of anyone who doesn’t look like yourself.”

Opinions from the community have been mixed. Some are outraged that the police would suggest such a thing. Many feel the police should do more to aggressively hunt down wanted criminals. But just as many feel that the chief is right. More armed citizens willing to fight back might stop criminals.

Local gun store Ammu-nation has announced a sale as a sign of support for the chief’s statement. All first time gun buyer get 20% off their first gun and a free holster.
