Police acquiring missiles to keep government drones out of city airspace

Local anti government and conspiracy theory groups were shocked today when the local police department took their side on an issue. That issue was US government drones flying over the city. The shocking surprise, the cops have purchased surface to air missiles to shoot down the drones.

Prominent local conspiracy theorist Leonard Smalls tells us his whole belief system is has turned upside down.

“For years I have been watching the militarization of local cops. SWAT teams and every cop carrying an AR-15. I thought it was the US government slowly federalizing the cops. I assumed we would see the “New World Order” rise up and the USA would be a police state. Deep down in my very core I felt the local police were the enemy ready to take any order that evil emperor in The White House gave.”

Mr. Smalls went on a long rant about police and the coming police state. He was sure that any day now the Constitution will be repealed. But then he said he had to admit maybe some of his theories are wrong. Especially how the local cops play into this whole New World Order stuff.

“We have been hearing lots about drones. The US government and Military are using drones for all kinds of surveillance and assassinations missions. But Chief Ed McDunnough is stepping up to keep the citizens of this city safe. He bought missiles and has made it known he will shoot down any government drones that fly into the city. How could he be part of the evil empire if he is that willing to shoot missiles at imperial drones?”

The police chief made a very simple statement.

“I was hired by the city to protect the citizens of this city. Locals have voiced a concern about drones so my officers now have to tools to keep drones out of city air space. Simple as that. As for the conspiracy theory folks… well just give them a week or two they will dream up some new half baked idea to turn us back into the bad guys.”

US military officials refused to comment on the possibility of city cops taking out a drone.
