Police Chief Lucas Picard from the LaBarre police department is taking leadership advice from North Korea. Just as the North Korean dictator has ordered all males to share his hairstyle, the Chief is ordering his male officer to go bald.

Chief Picard also pointed out to CallTheCops this decision was not one based on his personal ego. The Chief is bald and has been for a number of years now.
“This policy takes care of a few issues I have been having. First, this department has a number of middle-aged officers with male pattern baldness. They all have these ridiculous looking comb-over haircuts. I wish the policy could say comb-over but the city attorney said that would be discriminatory. Secondly I have all these younger male officers with these wild gel covered hairstyles. They all look like they just rolled out of bed with their hair all catawampus like that. Again city attorney said I couldn’t single out a hairstyle like that. So in the end, the lawyer said everyone, well every male will have to have the same style. Thus all the guys will be bald starting next week.”
Officers are understandably upset. Sgt. Lewis Zimmerman, who sports one heck of a bad looking comb-over, is about the most vocal person in opposition. “My hair is my right. I should be allowed to keep what I have till God decides to remove it all. Who is he to judge how good or bad we look? My wife says I look sexy and that is the only opinion I care about.”
Chief Picard refused to comment about if he wanted sexy officers or not. He did add that Uniform and grooming standards are up to administration discretion so the union has nothing it can file a grievance against. As for anyone who will refuse to shave the Chief did add this “I got an eligibility list with ten names on it. Anyone who can’t follow policy is welcome to go, I will replace them with someone from the list.”
