Smooth Bore vs. Fog Nozzle debate will end at FDIC

Firefighters for a long time have debated which nozzle is better, smooth bore or fog. Trying to meet both roles manufactures put out automatic nozzles that turn the fog down to a strait steam. But these strait streams are still no smooth bore. The long-standing debate ends this year at FDIC when Proluvies LLC releases the Fog-Bore Nozzle.

Smooth Bore vs. Fog Nozzle

Smooth Bore vs. Fog Nozzle debate will end with the Fog-Bore!

CallTheCops was granted and exclusive super sneak peek at a Fog-Bore prototype. This new technology is set to change the way the fire service makes interior attacks. Dubbed “the future of firefighting” it will both debut and go on sale this April at FDIC in Indianapolis.

The patent pending Fog-Bore Nozzle combines both a true smooth bore flow, with the addition of an adjustable fog pattern. But unlike the any of the combination heads on the market, the Fog-Bore allow simultaneous smooth stream and fog stream.

Yes you read that right. Simultaneous knock down power of a smooth bore, yet also get the high heat absorption from the surface to mass ratio of a fog pattern.

Proluvies CEO, Frank Morze, invited CallTheCops for a sneak peak of his revolutionary new nozzle.

“This nozzle will save lives. I don’t need to tell you about how each nozzle type has benefits the other does not. When you merge the two via our design, the end result gives the best of both worlds, with no negatives. The positives of each cancel out the negatives of each.”

Mr. Morze showed us data that his nozzle is able to put out more gallons per minute than a typical fog nozzle, but at a much less pressure than a common smooth bore. The Fog-Bore also can be run with Compressed Air Foam Systems. We unfortunately cannot publish exact GMP and PSI numbers per our agreement with Prouvies.

“Pure and simple this nozzle will save lives” CEO Morze said to us on multiple occasions.

The nozzles will launch with standard attack line diameters of 2 ½”, 2”, 1 ¾” and 1 ½”. Proluvies had not set pricing on the nozzles at the time of our demonstration. Mr. Morze however said they would be priced very close to the cost of a popular automatic nozzle.

“After we reveal this nozzle at FDIC the Smooth Bore vs Fog Nozzle debate will be over. Everyone will want a Fog-Bore.”

Proluvies wants to invite everyone to stop by their booth at FDIC in April. They will have special show pricing on the Fog-Bore Nozzles. Also make sure to Like CallTheCops on Facebook and Follow us on twitter for access to 10% off coupon when the Fog-Bore goes on sale!
