Inmates at the Orange County jail are upset by the lack of access to seasonal flavors. The current issue at hand is lack of pumpkin spice coffee drinks.

The inmate leading the charge goes by the street name of O-Dawg. According to O-Dawg guards often times come into the pods with Starbucks cups smelling of pumpkin spice. When inmates asked about getting a pumpkin spice option for thier blan watered down quasi coffee, jail staff laughed.

“This is unacceptable. The pilgrims fought the Civil War against North Korea for our right to have pumpkin spice coffee. It is our right to drink this as Americans and jail staff should not be denying this right.”

Orange county’s sheriff responded by eliminating all coffee for inmates in his jail. The ACLU has pledged to fight this until the inmates get their pumpkin froufrou coffee.
