Chief thinks female crossfitters show too much skin off duty

Chief Jeffery Prudam is makeing waves in his department with a sweeping new policy that outlines so called “Conduct unbecoming and officer”. Much of this conduct he says is tied to their activity in the sport Crossfit and the skimpy outfits worn to work out.

Fit slefie

Fit Selfie

This new policy comes after an attempt to discipline officer Renee Adhibet that was foiled by the union. Officer Adhibet was featured as one of many people in advertisements for her Crossfit box. The photo showed the officer working out in a sports bra, which was damp enough with sweat to be able to make out the outline of her nipple. The other three females also in the photo had sports bras on and also upon close inspection nipples on one other female could be made out.

The chief then launched an investigation that included Officer Adhibet’s social media profiles. On her Facebook and Instagram the officer had posted many multiple “selfies”. Being a fitness fanatic the majority of the selfies are soon after working out, meaning in short shorts and sports bra. Many other selfies are in swimsuits.

“I checked out this gym she and other officers at my department go to. Everyone is half naked. Shorts so small and so tight butt cheeks are hanging out. Sports bras, tank tops heck some guys topless, it leaves nothing to the imagination.”

Soon after visiting the Crossfit Box the chief expanded his social media investigation to cover all 44 officers at the department. He was shocked how many officers are posting selfies, and how many of his fitness minded officers are showing “too much skin”.

It should be noted that the chief never found any naked photos of his officers.

“People know these folks are officers. So what kind of image of the department are they putting out by prancing around dressed like that in a public place? Then to be posting photos like that online. Don’t they have ANY modesty anymore?”

In response to the investigation Officer Adhibet told CallTheCops “I am proud of my body. In the past I never had the curves that turned heads, was always very average skinny body. Now that I found fitness, epically Crossfit, my body is toned and has sexy shape. I wear what I feel comfortable in, and what makes me feel good.”

The chief tired to discipline her for “conduct unbecoming an officer”. The union showed that the old policy did not cover social media or off-duty clothing options. So the chief set out to write a new policy that goes into effect August 1, 2014.

The new policy outlines acceptable posts on social media and also acceptable dress code in public places within the city limits. The union will fight this new policy. Until a decision is made Officer Adhibet left us with this quote.

“The policy talks about being in the city limits. My Crossfit box is owned by a guy who runs three other boxes. I will just transfer my membership to one of the others that are all in other close by townships. As for social media, well I might just have a new Facebook account with a anonymous name that he will never find.”

Other officers contacted were not willing to go on record for this story.
